On July 3, 2025, Monica De La Cruz voted to cut taxes for billionaires…and slash funds for health care, Medicaid, Obamacare and rural hospitals. 

The health care cuts will have devastating consequences for the people of South Texas. 

Sick people cannot go to work. Sick children cannot go to school. Sick mothers cannot care for their families.

In America, health care should be a human right, not a privilege. Annual checkups. Access to a doctor when they need one. Quality care when they are ill.

As an emergency room Doctor, I see it all the time…desperately ill people in the emergency room, in extreme pain, with a life-threatening illness…that could have been prevented if only they had had access to routine medical care.

My Plan:
✔ Reverse the massive cuts made to Medicaid.
✔ Expand telemedicine services.
✔ Reverse the cuts made to Obamacare.
✔ Protect rural hospitals.
✔ Allow people without health insurance to purchase a Medicare policy.
