ALAMO, TX - Dr. Ada Cuellar, the Democrat running for Congress in Texas’s 15th Congressional District, launched her first television ad today emphasizing her experience handling emergencies. The ad, which starts airing this morning on both broadcast and cable television, also highlights her roots in the district and her experience as a single mom who knows what hard working South Texans struggle with every day.

In the :30 second spot, Dr. Cuellar also draws a clear contrast between herself and her primary opponent and winter Texan Bobby Pulido, noting that she is “an ER doctor, single mom, and problem solver…not a celebrity.”

“As an ER doctor, I know what an emergency looks like and there are warning signs flashing everywhere,” said Dr. Cuellar, echoing the introduction to her ad. “Donald Trump is a celebrity whose extreme agenda has brought tariffs that are costing families more, indiscriminate raids of Latino communities by masked agents, and the gutting of healthcare and the social safety net to pay for tax cuts for billionaires. We don’t need another celebrity in Washington, we need someone with the experience to stand up and fight for our communities.”
