Statement from Dr. Ada Cuellar on Strikes on Iran

ALAMO, TX - "So much for America First. A few weeks ago when thousands of protesters were being slaughtered in Iran, Donald Trump had spread our forces too thin to act. Now, these strikes raise more questions than answers, the most pressing one being to what extent American forces will be committed, and for how long. The one thing we know for sure is this won't bring down grocery prices, it won't reduce the tax on Americans imposed by Trump's tariffs, and it won't make healthcare affordable for Americans. We need leaders in Congress who hold the President accountable, who reassert Congressional authority over declaring war, and who prioritize the needs of the American people."
